Congenital heart patients have inspired the Melody® Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve, a breakthrough non-surgical means to treat a complication associated with congenital heart disease—pulmonary valve insufficiency. Using the Ensemble® Transcatheter Delivery System, the physician delivers the Melody® Valve by catheter through the body’s cardiovascular system, eliminating the need to open the chest.

The RetroFlex II delivery system retains many of the features of the RetroFlex delivery system, and adds a tapered nose cone that facilitates the passage of the valve delivery catheter over the curve of the aortic arch and through the patient's native, diseased aortic heart valve.
